Shifting in and out of this reality since 1998 is the ever changing sound sculptors
known as AUDIOPHYLE.

Starting out, they vibrated dubbed-out-space-jams that slowly shifted into and between heavy punk-infused-pirate-space-stoner-jazz rock and now nuclear blasting into walls of sound that fold space & time piloted by Doug’s kaoss pad control unit. The band writes
some serious revolution songs and plays tight live.

They’ve had many members mysteriously appear and disappear over the years,
but the core of the chaos has always been Colin McDonnell, on bass, and Tia Refait, on guitar & vocals and more recently, Chuck, on drums, has taken quite a shine to the band.
Doug, on keys & kaoss, is probably playing his share of “no jumping zone” gigs … in Ohio… boo hoo - we miss that boy!

You may show up to a gig and get a completely electronic sound sculpture set, but don’t be fooled, “We gotta remember our roots; deep in the chaos and the void of space” as Colin likes to say. We will never surrender without a fight!!!
